About The Art

Each print is personally printed, inspected, and approved by Krisgoat. Most prints are shipped in a heavy duty cardboard tube.

The proper care will lengthen the life of your precious prints for centuries. The quality of the prints are high and will naturally protect themselves however if you would like to add a little extra tender love and care you may try a few of these helpful suggestions.

* Exposing prints to direct sunshine is one of the worst things to do. The very air and light can cause bleaching or discoloration of the art over time. By avoiding displaying the art outdoors or under direct sunlight your print will stay bright and vibrant for many, many years.

* Upon arrival the print may have became curled due to the round tube packaging. If this happens uncurl the print by weighing the corners down on a flat surface with books overnight. Or very gently curl the print in opposite direction.

* Hold the paper by the edges as much as possible and take care not to touch the printed surface. Use clean hands while handling or white gloves if you prefer.

* Place printed sheets in albums, plastic folders, glass frames etc. The extra layer will help protect your print from air and light. Use acid-free mats.

* Avoid using tape on the print if you can because in time it can cause discoloration, tearing, and unpleasant stickiness.

* When using pocket type albums be sure to insert the sheets fully into the pockets.

* Take care when using stick on albums as paper may become permanently affixed to the surface.

* When storing prints lay them flat inside a stiff cardboard box so as to avoid any bending. Place copier paper in between each print to protect printed side if there is no other protective covering. Avoid storing in a location with high temperatures, high humidity or direct sunlight.
